Can You Pay With PayPal At Costco?
Unfortunately, as we mentioned earlier, Costco does not accept PayPal as a payment method in-store at any of its locations around the United States.
Customers are required to choose from the accepted payment methods, which include Visa, Mastercard, and more.
While PayPal is a popular digital wallet, Costco has decided not to welcome payments via this platform. This could be due to PayPal’s transaction fees, which can vary based on the type of transaction and the merchant’s sales volume.
Does Costco Accept PayPal Online?
Costco does not accept PayPal as a payment option on its website or mobile app. Also, if you are shopping on Costco via Instacart, you cannot pay with PayPal.
While Costco offers a variety of payment options for its online orders, including Visa, MasterCard, most PIN-based Debit/ATM cards, and Costco Shop Cards, PayPal is not one of them.
If you prefer using PayPal for your online purchases, you may want to consider other retailers that accept PayPal as a payment option.
Does Costco Take PayPal Credit/Debit Card?

That said, you should be able to pay with your physical PayPal credit or debit card since their physical cards are issued by Mastercard, which is a payment method accepted at Costco both in-store and online.
If you have a PayPal cashback card, debit card, or prepaid card, it can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, including Costco’s online platform.
